2010 Training

To All Players,

It's that time of the year again! SAAFL football kicks off the week after Easter in April and this means we only have 9- 10 weeks to get some fitness and be ready for another strong showing in 2010.

The first training session will be on Tuesday 12th January 2010 at 6:00pm at Rosewater Oval and training will continue to be held on Tuesday & Thursday nights at 6:00pm.

A couple of fitness sessions at the new Adelaide Football Club facilities under the guidance of a professional fitness instructor have been scheduled for Jan 28th and Feb 18th and reports from players training prior to Christmas had indicated it was a great session and well worth attending.

Seniors Coach Shaun Glacken is in the process of arranging a structured fitness camp in the Riverland on the weekend of March 20th -21st and we require good numbers for this to be successful.

Trial matches have also been pencilled in for 13th & 27th of March 2010, the latter being a country road trip or weekend to Maitland and this means we only have 8 weeks to get ready.

The club had a reasonably successful year in 2009 with both sides playing in the finals but the club must take the next step and have all teams play in a major final in 2010.

The coaches have been busy planning and strategising to help improve the fitness of all the players which inturn will help all the teams take the next step and play in major finals.

The success in 2010 can only happen with your attendance and we would like to see you at training on the 12th Jan.

If you are unable to attend due to work commitments please do not hesitate to give me a call to discuss any issues.

Don't forget if you've got a mate that wouldn't mind a kick bring them out.
The more the merrier.
See you on the 12th Jan at Rosewater.

Your attendance will be well received and we look forward to seeing the improvement in 2010.

Kind Regards
Rosewater ‘B’ Grade Coach
