Played football with the Encounter Bay Football Club, late 50's until 1975
Vice Captain Life Member of EBFC
Came to Rosewater when son, Adam, introduced to junior football 1987
With others, Bill Anesbury in particular, established the Junior Development Committee
President of the JDC from inception (1988) to 1996
Made a Life Member of the Club for efforts with juniors
Subsequently served as Chairman (2003 a Premiership Year) and Secretary (2006 - not so successful)
Mother knows him as Ian (his first given name)
